Nayoung Kim, a U.S. attorney in Kim & Chang’s IP Practice, was invited to speak at the 2019 International Countermeasures Against Image-Based Sexual Abuse Conference, which was held in Seoul on November 15, 2019. Ms. Kim presented on "Legal Measures Against Non-Consensual Photography or Image-Based Sexual Abuse" highlighting legal approaches to Image-Based Sexual Abuse based on relevant criminal, civil and copyright laws, in connection with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and Communications Decency Act (CDA).

Hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and sponsored by the U.S. Embassy Seoul, it served as a premier event for delegates from relevant organizations, private sector companies, universities, and law firms to review the current status and seek for improvement of the support system and international cooperation.
