Two attorneys in Kim & Chang's IP Practice – Sun-Keun Yoon (Korean patent attorney) and Kyoung Sun (Sunny) Lee (Korean trademark attorney) – spoke at the 2019 TIPA International IP Symposium, held in Taipei on November 8-9, 2019. Mr. Yoon and Ms. Lee presented on "Invalidation of Patent in South Korea" and "Invalidation of Trademark in South Korea" respectively, featuring IP administrative trial and litigation system, case studies, and recent trends. Both also participated in a panel discussion and shared their insights on unique practical aspects in Korea.

Organized by Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO), Taiwan Intellectual Property Training Academy (TIPA), and NTU Law Center of Science and Technology Ethics (CLTE), the symposium proved to be a productive platform in bringing together IP professionals around the world, where they discussed recent developments and practices in different jurisdictions for the advancement of the IP invalidation procedure and litigation system in Taiwan.
