Seung-Sik Kim joined Kim & Chang in 2002 and is a patent attorney in the firm's Integrated Technology Practice.
He received his B.E. in Radio Engineering & Science (2002) from Yonsei University and was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2001. Mr. Kim has provided IP advice to many major technology companies since he joined the firm. His expertise is in a variety of electronic fields including displays, semiconductors, lithographies, and communications. Mr. Kim's practice mainly focuses on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including prosecution of patent applications, invalidations before the Korean Intellectual Property Office and the Patent Court, licensing strategies, client counseling on the Korean IP system, and patent filing strategies.
