Bong-Hoon Park is a patent attorney in the Kim&Chang's IP Practice who joined the firm in 2013.

He received his B.E. and M.E. in Metallurgical Engineering (1981,1987) from Seoul National University and his Ph.D in Metallurgical Engineering (2002) from Tohoku University in Japan.

Prior to joining the firm, he served four years as deputy director at the metallurgical department and aero-space department in Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and seven years at Korean Intellectual Property Office(KIPO) as a patent examiner of the examination division and aided the patent judge of the Appeal Division.

Furthermore, Dr. Park worked as patent attorney practicing a wide range of intellectual property matter, including patent drafting, patent prosecution, and litigation.
