Three attorneys in Kim & Chang's IP Practice – Sun-Young Park (Korean Trademark/Design Attorney), Younghoon Park (Korean Patent Attorney), and Flora Qiqiao Zhang (Chinese Patent Attorney & Attorney at Law) – were invited to speak at the China Patent Protection Association's online lecture session on August 28, 2020. Under the topic of "IP Procurement Strategies and Enforcement Trends in Korea," they presented on overview of IP system in Korea, recent key developments, and practical tips and considerations.

Organized for export-oriented enterprises to better prevent and deal with IP risk and disputes overseas, the session was well-received by approximately 300 IP delegates from associations, government agencies, private sector companies, research institutes, etc. in China as a great opportunity to enhance their understanding on IP issues when doing business in Korea.
