John J. Kim, a U.S. patent attorney in Kim & Chang’s IP Practice, was invited to speak at the Canada-Korea Connected & Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) Networking Forum in Seoul on November 27-28, 2019. Mr. Kim presented on "Update on Korean Laws and Regulation," highlighting unique aspects of the Korean IP system and relevant issues involving industrial R&D collaboration between Canadian and Korean companies.

Hosted by the Embassy of Canada in Korea to engage in collaborative R&D projects on connected & autonomous vehicles, it was a tremendous success in bringing together industry leaders and professionals, including delegates from 10 leading Canadian companies for dialogue, cooperation, and networking.
