On November 27, 2020, three attorneys in Kim & Chang's IP Practice – Flora Qiqiao Zhang (Chinese Patent Attorney & Attorney at Law), Sun-Young Park (Korean Trademark/Design Attorney) and Younghoon Park (Korean Patent Attorney) – were invited to speak at an online lecture session organized by the China office of LexisNexis, a leading global media group. Under the topic of "Korean IP System and Protection Strategies," they presented on overview of patent, trademark, design laws, practical tips and considerations, and recent IP litigation and examination trends, along with notable case studies related to the Korean Wave.

The session was well-received by industry representatives and IP practitioners in China as a great opportunity to enhance their understanding on IP key issues and differences between the Chinese and Korean IP systems.
