On June 13, 2022, Sun Young PARK (Patent Attorney) and Na XIE (Foreign Attorney), members of Kim & Chang’s Intellectual Property Practice, were invited to speak at a live global online lecture organized by China Trademark Journal and Beijing MOZLEN Technology Co., Ltd., and co-directed and supported by multiple Chinese IP associations. Under the topic of "Best Practices for Global Protection of Trademarks and Brands," they presented on trademark practice and the latest trends in Korea in a discussion format. The presentation included recently amended laws, case highlights, Supreme Court precedents, and trade dress protection system. They also led an in-depth and lively discussion with the audience in a Q&A session held after the presentation.

This seminar was part of a series of lectures conducted sequentially for about a month from May 10, participated by more than 30 overseas counsels from more than 10 countries including Korea and China. It was well-received by more than 400 Chinese and trademark practitioners overseas as a great opportunity to enhance their understanding on key trademark issues and differences of systems in each country.
