On September 30, 2022, Flora Qiqiao Zhang (Chinese Attorney at Law & Patent Attorney) and Sun Young Park (Korean Trademark/Design Attorney), members of Kim & Chang's Intellectual Property Practice, were invited to speak as lecturers at a live online seminar co-hosted by the Intellectual Property Office of Henan Province, China and IPR Daily.

Under the topic of "Korean Design Practice Under the Hague System ad Partial Design System," Ms. Zhang and Ms. Park introduced overview and unique aspects of the Korean design system, practical tips and strategies for Hague design applications, latest law amendments and trends on partial design and screen image design systems, along with recent infringement cases in a discussion format.

Provided for industry representatives and design practitioners in Henan province, their lecture was well-received by more than 3,700 online audience as a great opportunity to enhance their understanding of the key design issues in Korea and differences between the Chinese and Korean design systems.
