Overview

Tae-Ho MIN joined Kim & Chang in 2013, and is a Korean patent attorney in the firm’s mechanical practice.

He received his B.S. in Material Science & Engineering (2004) from Han-yang University, and was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at ITOH International Patent Office in Tokyo from 2009 to 2013, and KOREANA Patent Firm from 2005 to 2009.

Mr. Min has handled a wide variety of cases, including patent prosecution, appeals and litigations for metals, electronic devices etc. He has substantial experience in patent prosecution before the Japanese Intellectual Property Office (JIPO). He has published many articles and translated books on Japanese patent prosecution and litigation. With his background and experience, he is well placed to advise on both Korean and Japanese patent issues.
