Overview

Hosup Yeo is a patent attorney in the Chemical/Pharma Practice of the firm, specializing in the areas of medicinal chemistry and pharmacology.

He has a strong knowledge in drug development and extensive research experience in screening, isolation and synthesis of biologically active compounds. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an Administrative Patent Judge in the Korean Intellectual Property Tribunal from 2009 to 2010, as a Solicitor in the Litigation Team of the Korean Intellectual Property Tribunal from 2008 to 2009, and as a Patent Examiner in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Division of the Korean Intellectual Property Office from 1999 to 2008. Through his past work experiences, he had experienced numerous patent trials, patent litigations and patent examinations, particularly in the area of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, which led him to build up his strong capabilities in patent enforcement. His practice focuses on developing and executing strategies to help clients to obtain, protect and enforce their IP rights, especially in the fields of chemical and pharmaceutical technologies.
