• Represented a global pharmaceutical company in patent infringement and invalidation actions before Korean courts and the Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board (an appellate body within the Korean Intellectual Property Office), against a local company who was planning to manufacture and sell the infringing product worldwide
• Built and managed a patent portfolio for a multinational pharmaceutical company to secure a patent barrier against biosimilars
• Represented a cosmetic company in patent infringement and invalidation lawsuits against a competitor who improperly practiced the client's technology in violation of the license contract
• Defended a seed company in litigation against a Plant Variety Right (PVR) owner who argued that the client's seeds are biologically identical to the PVR-protected seeds and constitute infringement
• Search for potential business partners for a client in the pharmaceutical industry by patent mapping
• Conducted freedom-to-operate analyses for a food manufacturing process and provided validity/patentability opinions on multiple patents to assist a license contract
• Evaluated trade secret technology of a target company for merger and acquisition 
• Represented a pharmaceutical company in a multinational trade secret dispute for misappropriation of a drug-production strain and manufacturing process
