Seung Hyun Lee is a patent attorney in the Chemical/Pharma Practice of the firm. Her practice focuses on patent prosecution and IP litigation related to biochemistry, biotechnology, bioinformatics, and molecular biology.

Seung Hyun has been intimately involved in and handled numerous patent prosecutions in the areas of recombinant DNA technology, bioinformatics, and molecular biology before the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).  She has also handled many trials before the Intellectual Property Tribunal of KIPO and patent litigations regarding stem-cell manipulation and animal cloning by nuclear transfer in Korean courts.

Seung Hyun was engaged in the "Determination of DNA base sequences by RNA polymerase" (Sequenom Inc., USA) and "Development of transcription technology for screening mutations" (Korean Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology) projects from 1998 to 1999.  She has in-depth experience in the areas of biotechnology, molecular biology, and genetic engineering.

Seung Hyun completed the 16th practical patent law course at the Korean Intellectual Property Office in February 2003.  She is a member of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association.
