Woo Seok Kim joined Kim & Chang in 2008 and is a patent attorney in the firm's Mechanical Practice. 

He received his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (2002, 2007) from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2007. His current practice focuses on a wide range of intellectual property matters including patent prosecution, patent litigation, licensing, and dispute resolution. He has experience working on various technical areas including medical devices, consumer and personal care goods, construction equipment and automobile. He is a member of IP medical device team to counsel, manage and promote the interests of clients requiring representation in medical device technology.
