Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Ms. Lee worked at Samsung Electronics as an in-house counsel where she focused on patent filing and patent infringement analysis. Also, she worked at Hyundai Motor Company's IP department where she handled various matters including patent disputes and licensing.

Ms. Lee received her undergraduate degree in Architecture from Seoul National University (2003), and her law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law (J.D., 2011).

She is admitted to Korean Patent Bar (2005) and New York Bar (2012).
