Ki-Ho Kim joined Kim & Chang in 2017 and is a patent attorney in the Electrical/Software Practice.
He received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering (2011) from Korea University and was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2017. Before joining the firm, Mr. Kim worked as a patent engineer at LG Electronics' Intellectual Property Center from 2012 to 2016, specializing in Standard-Essential Patent (SEP) portfolios development and SEP licensing.
Mr. Kim's practice mainly focuses on preparation, prosecution, and strategic IP counseling. His areas of technical specialty include electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunication areas, standard for mobile communication and networks (3GPP,3GPP2,IEEE, etc.), and standard for Blu-ray Disc (One-Blue).
