Sang-Eun Kim is a patent attorney in Kim & Chang's Intellectual Property Practice and joined the firm in 2011.

Prior to joining the firm, he was at Darae IP&FIRM from 2009 to 2011 and experienced almost every kind of examination-related positions in KIPO for 15 years as a patent examiner, administrative patent judge, director of examination division. Furthermore, he worked as a technical adviser in the Patent Court and Supreme Court of Korea, providing judges with consultation throughout trials on IP cases, participating in hearings to examine the relevant parties or witnesses, and giving opinions on decisions handed down by the Court. His main concern is IP Trial & Litigation.
