Yoon Seong Cho is a patent attorney in the firm's Integrated Technology Practice.

His practice involves various aspects of patent law, with a particular emphasis on patent prosecution, patent litigation, due diligence investigation, opinion preparation, and patent portfolio management. He has worked with conventional chemical and pharmaceutical majors, and recently has focused on representing technology companies that supply products to semiconductor manufacturers and flat panel display companies. He also leads the IP renewable energy team in the firm.

In recent years, Mr. Cho has litigated disputes involving pharmaceuticals, CMP apparatus for semiconductor manufacturing and optical films for flat panel display. He has also performed due diligence evaluations on patent portfolios and provided opinions on validity and freedom-to-operate issues in the areas of secondary batteries, medical devices, materials for semiconductor and display manufacturing, and renewable energy. Mr. Cho was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 1998 and is a member of the Intellectual Property Forum.
