Jae Hoon Lee joined Kim & Chang in 2016 is a professional patent attorney who has experienced in aspects of patent practice including patent application, registration, examination, prosecution, litigation, and assessment for intellectual property such as patents and utility models.

Especially he has been in charge of technology development for many years in The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, while working as the president of Intellectual Property Trial & Appeal Board of Korean Intellectual Property Office(KIPO) which was the last position of his 30 years career in there. For 17 years in KIPO, he has also taken charge in examination, prosecution, and validity/clearance searches of patents and utility models in person, and generalized its policies.
