Ms. Keun Sil Lim joined Kim & Chang in 2011 and is a patent attorney in the Chemical/Pharma Practice of the Intellectual Property Practice.

She received her B.S. in Pharmacy (2001) and M.S. in Pharmacy (2003) from Seoul National University. Ms. Lim was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2005 and is a registered pharmacist in Korea since 2001. Before she passed the Korean Patent Bar Examination in 2005, she had worked as a licensing analyst at a pharmaceutical company (2002-2003), collecting and analyzing information on new drugs with a view to selecting those drugs which may be introduced to Korea through licensing. Prior to joining Kim & Chang, she also worked for Koreana Patent Firm (2006-2008) and FirstLaw Lee & Ko (2008-2011) where she was responsible for various patent prosecution and litigation matters. Her current practice focuses on patent related matters in the pharmaceutical, biotechnological and chemistry fields.
