Bongdon Choi is a patent attorney at Kim & Chang's Mechanical Practice.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Choi was a patent examiner in the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) from 2006 to 2020 and served in the Polymer & Textile Examination Division, Home Consumer Goods Examination Division, and Intelligent Robot Examination Division. He also worked at the Institute of Chemical Engineering, TU Wien, Austria as a visiting researcher (2014-2016).

Mr. Choi received an M.S. in Textile Engineering from the Kyunghee University in Korea (1995), and his Dr.-Ing. from the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Dresden University of Technology in Germany (2005). He is admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2013.
