简介

Chang-Oh Ryu joined Kim & Chang in 1997 and is a senior trademark attorney in the firm's Trademark/Design Practice.

He received his B.A. in Public Administration (1992) from Yonsei University and was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 1992.

Before joining the firm he was at Y.S. Chang & Associates from 1993 to 1997 and focused on a wide range of trademark and design related matters.

Mr. Ryu's practice areas include trademark searches, prior art searches, prosecution, trial action, litigation, an anti-counterfeiting campaign, and license negotiation on trademark and design rights as well as the matters relating to Internet domain names, border protection, and protection of trademark and design rights through Korean Trade Commission.

Currently, Mr. Ryu handles various intellectual property matters for Japanese clients.He is a member of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association and Asian Patent Attorneys Association.
