Sanghee Shim is a senior trademark attorney in the firm's Trademark/Design Practice.

He received the Master of Intellectual Property (MIP) from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2012 and BA in Biotechnology from Korea University in 1994. He served as a First Lieutenant in field artillery for 28 months in his twenties (ROTC #32).

Mr. Shim built his careers related to intellectual property at home and abroad. In 2000, he started his public service career as a Deputy Director at the Ministry of Interior and Safety, and in 2004 transferred to KIPO and served as a Patent Examiner, Design Examiner, International Cooperation Planner, and Trial Examiner in Intellectual Property Tribunal.

In addition, he worked as a Legal Assistant at the President Office for one and a half years, served as an IP Consul in the Consulate General of Korea in Shanghai for three years, and at a Chinese Law Office for five years.

Sanghee Shim is a senior trademark attorney in the firm's Trademark/Design Practice.
