Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Kwon worked in the IP Group of Samsung Electro-Mechanics as the IP dispute part leader for 20 years. Mr. Kwon also worked as the IP Team leader at Seoul Semiconductor for 2 years. Mr. Kwon has extensive experience in various IP matters including foreign/domestic patent litigation, licensing, JDA agreements, and patent portfolio management. Mr. Kwon received his B.S. in IT Engineering (1994) from Kyungbook National University and LL.M from Indiana University, School of Law (2014). He was admitted to the Bar, Washington D.C. in 2014.
