Jin-Ho Lee joined Kim & Chang in 2007 and is a patent attorney in the firm’s Electrical/Software Practice.
He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering (2004) from Seoul National University and was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2006. He also received his LL.M. from the University of Southern California, School of Law in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Great Human Soft as a software developer for networking software and VoIP technology from 2000 to 2003. His practice mainly focuses on the preparation, prosecution, and litigation of patents. His areas of technical specialty include physical electronics, semiconductor devices & integrated circuits, and communications & networking.
Mr. Lee has prosecuted hundreds of patent applications before the Korean Intellectual Property Office, including appeals to the IPT against final rejections. Further, Mr. Lee has represented several multi-national corporations in patent infringement actions, scope confirmation and invalidation actions. He has also provided patent infringement analysis and patent validity analysis on patents, and performed prior art searches.
